How to Unlock Samsung Galaxy S7 Active (Any Country or Carrier)

Today I am going to show you how to unlock your Samsung Galaxy S7 Active so that it can be used on just about any GSM network in the world.
So you might be wondering, why would I need to unlock my S7 active if it already works with my network. Well, there are many different reasons why but the main reasons being that unlocked phones have more resale value because anybody with a GSM network can buy it and not just those who are on the network the phone is tied to. So if you want to buy a T-Mobile phone and use it on an ATT network or vice versa, you can do so with no problems.
So in order to get your phone unlocked youre going to want to follow these simple steps.
First, you’re going to need your phone’s IMEI. The easiest way to do this to dial *#06# and your IMEI will appear. Then, you’re going to want to run over to theunlockingcompany.com. They are the ones who made this video possible and allowed me to use the S7 Active on virtually any GSM network.
Select your manufacturer and model of the phone you wish to unlock. In this case, I chose S7 Active. Then, choose the country where you purchased the phone and what carrier the phone is tied to. Finally, enter your IMIE into the corresponding field to complete the checkout process. After you complete the checkout process, you will recieve an email with your unlock code. Please note that it does take a little bit of time depending on the phone, carrier, model, etc.
Once you recieve the code, remove the current SIM card and insert the SIM card from the carrier you wish to use your phone with. After you restart the phone, a command prompt will appear asking you for an unlock code. Enter the code from the email and boom, your phone is now unlocked and ready to use. Yes, it's that simple.
